Mary is marketing professional with diverse experience in strategic partnerships, creative campaigns, digital strategy and project management. Mary works on the marketing and donor relations team for Stand Up To Cancer. She works on global partnerships for SU2C and in 2009, helped launch SU2C's first international pilot program in Veracruz, Mexico with the InterAmerican Development Bank.
Before joining the RSA team, Mary was Director and CMO of the McLean Gallery and Frank Pictures Gallery (FPG) in Los Angeles. As a gallerist, Mary exhibited and sold numerous emerging to established contemporary and modern artists. At FPG, in L.A.’s famed Bergamot Station, she oversaw a rigorous program of modern, contemporary, and cutting-edge multimedia exhibitions.
Mary also founded a consulting firm dedicated to the proliferation of the fine arts in Los Angeles, Mary Pomerantz Fine Art (MPFA). At MPFA, she offered clients an approach to the business of art that acknowledged the changing landscape of the art world: the evolution of digital mediums as fine art, the importance of the internet and social media, and the proliferation alternative and hybrid venues.
Mary holds a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and Humanistic studies from McGill University, Montreal.
