Eat, Drink and Be Generous

RSA helped create and execute a custom cause marketing campaign for MasterCard, entitled "Eat, Drink and Be Generous" that raised over $4 million for Stand Up To Cancer. During a two month campaign, America was encouraged to use their MasterCard while dining out. The campaign was launched by a nationally aired television spot featuring Terrence Howard at MLB's 2011 All-Star Game. Throughout the campaign, customers were reminded of the important cause by SU2C celebrity ambassadors George Lopez, Paolo Costanzo, Cat Cora and Reese Witherspoon, as well as through a nationally aired commercial featuring Ray Romano which scored in top 10 ads for third quarter of 2011.

This multi-faceted campaign also had a robust digital component that resulted in a 97% increase in MasterCard's "likes" on facebook, as well as an additional donation of $125,000.

 

Welcome Bank Veterans

RSA played a crucial role in developing the marketing, PR strategy and implementation of the charitable program, Welcome Back Veterans (WBV), a charity of Major League Baseball (MLB). RSA connected the MLB Welcome Back Veterans initiative with key partners in the entertainment industry to build a robust multi-faceted campaign. The results of RSA's efforts in collaboration with the Entertainment Industry Foundation include: 3 national broadcast PSAs featuring First Lady of the United States, Mrs. Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden, Matthew McConaughey, LL Cool J and Christopher O'Donnell; integrated content and PSA placement in prime time television shows Mercy, NCIS Los Angeles, and Hank; online charity auction of Tom Hanks' Prius; and a launch event in New York City with Mayor, Michael Bloomberg, and 15 other "Cities of Service" mayors.

 

Lisa Frank

Lisa Frank, an industry leader in the area of stickers, stationery and school products for children and preteens, hired RSA to reinvigorate their 25 year old brand. RSA developed an “intrepreneurial” marketing department within the company by setting up the systems, as well as hiring and training key individuals. Through its numerous resources and connections in the industry, RSA turned Lisa Frank into a hot entertainment property through celebrity, TV and movie tie-ins, generating almost $2MM in media exposure and value. In addition, RSA developed new non-cannibalistic revenue channels generating $29.8 mm in incremental revenues and created programs specially for the Lisa Frank zealots and increase fan club base by 60%.
